This event brought together leading experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest advancements in autoimmune diseases. The congress offered a forum to share updates and promote collaboration for consensus and standardization in autoimmunity diagnosis.
Congress Highlights
The congress was a dynamic forum covering key challenges and advances in diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases. These included the most common diseases, with dedicated sections on lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune conditions. The congress covered numerous autoimmune diseases, including arthritis, myositis, antiphospholipid syndrome, systemic sclerosis, Sjögren syndrome, liver, GI diseases, and vasculitis. Additionally, novel autoimmune diseases, particularly the autoimmune syndrome induced by adjuvants (ASIA or Shoenfeld’s Syndrome), were discussed in depth.
Speakers presented a comprehensive overview of key diagnostic strategies, including sessions on the predictive value of autoantibodies in autoimmune conditions. They emphasized the latest research findings and their clinical implications. The 2023 ACR/EULAR Classification Criteria for Antiphospholipid Syndrome 1 were highlighted as a key reference point.
