Systemic Lupus Erythematodes

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease. The immune system attacks healthy cells, causing inflammation in multiple organs. Antinuclear autoantibodies play a central role in diagnosis and monitoring disease activity.

Our diagnostic portfolio covers the full spectrum of SLE testing. This includes highly sensitive immunofluorescence assays (IFA) such as nDNA IFA plus and AKLIDES® nDNA for anti-dsDNA antibodies, quantitative anti-dsDNA assays, and qualitative or semi-quantitative dot and line immunoassays. Laboratories can reliably detect diverse autoantibody profiles.
